AIDS In Africa Vs. MTV

What's up Everybody, heres another battle, AIDS in Africa against MTV. Now, AIDS, besides from cancer, is one of the most dangerous dieases in the world. Every person in the world probally lost someone to AIDS, and i'm one of them. There is an epdemic in the world and it's hitting it's hardest in Africa. Sub-Saharan Africa is more heavily affected by AIDS than any other region in africa. 24.5 million people were living with HIV at the end of 2005 and 2.7 million people were infected with HIV during that year.1 In the past year, the AIDS epidemic in Africa has claimed the lives of 2 million people in this region. More than twelve million children have been orphaned by the epdemic. There are ways that you can help to destroy the epdemic, you can go to many websites like www.avert.org/aidsinafrica or www.AMREF.org to learn about the epdemic in africa. And here's the opponet, MTV, the big network station with all of the shows that we love so much to watch. Shows like Next, Super Sweet 16, Road Rules, Pimp My Ride and The Real World gives us a reason to watch television. Music Television was a culture icon during the 80's and 90's and now in the 00's we have so much to see on MTV, and now we have MTV2,hooray more shows for us. Do you remember what your mother told you when you was little "too much television is no good?"well take your mother's words very seriously, because MTV is not worth of your time.
